Stefania Gori

Stefania Gori, a professor of physics at the University of California, Santa Cruz, has been named the 2025 recipient of the Division of Particles and Fields (DPF) Fellowship from the American Physical Society (APS).

The fellowship honors Gori for her seminal contributions to particle physics phenomenology beyond the Standard Model, particularly in advancing the understanding of Higgs bosons, neutrinos, and light dark matter. Her work has also inspired and guided new experimental efforts to search for physics phenomena that could reshape current theories of the universe.

Gori’s research bridges theory and experiment, helping guide the next generation of experiments at facilities around the world. Her recognition as a DPF Fellow highlights both her individual impact and UC Santa Cruz’s growing leadership in the field of fundamental particle physics.

Congratulations to Professor Gori on this prestigious national honor.
